Hello yee world of information architects, and bakers, policy negotiators, inventors, monastics, entreprenures, musicians, service and retail workers. Thee gamers, the comic book makers, film makers, illusion dwellers. Yee wyrdos, ye horticulturists, sales folk, crafts folk, goblins and proudfoots. Yee things that have not yet categories, ney, not even names they had. All ye, come hither, come round and I'll tell you a tale I know not yet the end of. Come, it's right here, in this present moment.

What im reconing with is that I will never know everything that's going on. I realizing that being a responsible voice doesn't come from knowing everything and then talking, it comes more from knowing enough to start acting thoughtfully.

So for the last ~11 years I've worked as an Information Architect. The strange thing is that I can tell you in a very narrow sense the work I do as most folks who run websites might tell you, but the strange part is that the other half of the work I can't tell you because it's like living an adventure. I mean, I think that means I'm a geek for it.

Fear of what folks think about online is such a small gossimer thorn that we fret about when it's something in the environment to be navigated. Fear, shame, these are not things to ostracise or avoid, these are ourselves. Right now, anyone accepting and believing in our interconnectedness, is having to fight what feels like a never ending battle against the ignorance that springs up in the field of fear and shame.

On of the things I'm battling with right now is, do I try to do consulting on my own (Aligned IA), or do I go work for someone as a manager or lead or whatever?

It's like waking up in a haze, in a combat zone, but it's in my house sitting on my couch. The battle is clearly in the beliefs a this point. What do we want to believe is reality? That is really what we are voting on, democracy prosstech, seeing the organic system (many people will not want to see the organic system of living process), and It's not clear to me which way the wind in my head is blowing.
